  • Community: Actively engaging with developers on various social media platforms (ie: Twitter, Discord, GitHub Discussions, Reddit, StackOverflow, etc)

  • Experience with Open-Source communities and projects
  • Some experience in at least two programming languages or frameworks (JS, TS, PHP, Python, Ruby, Dart, Kotlin, Swift…)
  • 2+ years experience as a Developer Advocate, or similar activities
  • Understanding of REST APIs and opinions of “good” and “bad” implementations
  • You love to teach developers how to build cool stuff
  • Demonstrate a track record of creating engaging developer content (such as, but not limited to videos, blog posts, social media posts, etc)
  • Ability to work with a diverse company (and team) located globally, working across different time zones
  • Company gatherings twice a year. Team gatherings once a year

Bonus but not required

  • Travel up to 25% for DevRel activities, but not required
